Material Handler II

The role of a Material Handler II will be responsible to provide receiving, storage, order fulfillment and information management for finished goods, inventory, materials, supplies, parts and equipment at the assigned facility accordingly.

Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and correctly process items for storage and/or shipment according to established procedures and customer requirements, ensuring high quality and timely delivery. Receive materials and/or finished goods daily, verifying the quality, type, and quantity of materials received and ensuring appropriate documentation is present (e.g., packing list). Operate PC applications and systems, including Microsoft Excel, E-1, and SAP. Update and maintain the SAP system. Coordinate all related activities with the distribution team with minimum supervision. Ensure that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor/management.

High school diploma or equivalent is required. 1-2 years of related experience. A preferred background includes experience with SAP spanning two to three years. Experience in Receiving spanning approximately one to two years. Ability to operate powered industrial trucks in addition to equipment located at various heights. Intermediate digital literacy to navigate ERP systems, Outlook, and shipping software to support daily operations. Prepared to work within a warehouse environment exposed to different temperatures, including room temperature (5986 degrees F), cold-room (36-46 degrees F), and freezer-room (minus 4 23 degrees F). Experience functioning in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage through complex processes/projects. SAP knowledge is highly preferred. Good written/verbal communication skills. Attention to detail is a must.

Frequently encouraged to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to speak and hear in an environment with background noise. Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 pounds. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.
