Material Handler (1st/2nd Shift)

Pay: $20 $23/hour

Schedule: MondayFriday 8 hour shifts

Join a Fast-Moving Warehouse & Production Team

We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to support warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations. This role plays a key part in keeping production running by ensuring materials are moved, stocked, and prepared accurately and efficiently.

What You'll Do

  • Move raw materials and finished goods using sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Keep production and assembly areas stocked to support continuous workflow
  • Use paper pick sheets to locate, pick, and stage materials for production
  • Assist with the transition to RF scanners by following updated processes
  • Create Bills of Lading (BOLs) and support outbound shipments
  • Unload incoming materials and organize them in receiving areas
  • Tag and label materials for proper identification and traceability
  • Respond to material requests and deliver items to machines or workstations
  • Pick and build pallets for delivery to assembly areas
  • Assist with staging and loading outbound shipments
  • Perform cycle counts during downtime to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

What You Bring

  • Experience in material handling within a warehouse, shipping, or receiving environment
  • Experience using forklifts (sit-down or stand-up) safely and efficiently
  • Familiarity with order picking using paper pick sheets
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks and basic material handling equipment
  • Basic computer skills for shipping and inventory tasks
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate picking and inventory handling
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience creating Bills of Lading (BOLs)
  • Experience working with LTL or truckload carriers
  • Inventory control experience, including cycle counting
  • Experience with reach trucks
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
  • Willingness to support multiple departments as needed

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eagan, MN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
