BED Shift: Wednesday – Saturday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM PDT

Swing Shift: Sunday – Wednesday | 3:00 PM –1:30 AM PDT

Swing Shift: Monday - Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM PDT


Position Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for reviewing customer orders, managing inventory, moving materials throughout the facility, supporting manufacturing operations, and ensuring accurate material transactions while following all safety and cleanroom procedures.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review customer orders and examine, stock, and distribute merchandise, products, and materials within inventory warehouses, distribution centers, or manufacturing lines.
  • Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas.
  • Identify and label materials and record locations within the warehouse/shelves to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and submitting operator repair orders when needed.
  • Complete material transactions in SAP, create non-conformance reports in IQMS, and close tasks in the MFG-based Cell Fusion application as required.
  • Perform and report cycle counts.
  • Oversee crating and audit outbound materials.
  • Operate trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other material-handling equipment to move freight as needed.
  • Arrange non-standard crating, rigging, and trucking activities through proper channels.
  • Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying locations, pulling, packing, and loading materials.


Safety Protocols

  • Complete all required safety training.
  • Follow safe work practices, including:
  • Lifting no more than 35 pounds.
  • Using ergonomic pads and proper lifting techniques.
  • Stretching when needed.
  • Follow personal and product safety guidelines by:
  • Utilizing appropriate PPE.
  • Following cleanroom procedures.
  • Following Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Zero Energy State (ZEST) policies and procedures.
  • Utilizing fixtures such as lift hoists, lift tracks, gantry cranes, and lifting tools to assist with material handling.
  • Perform Risk Management by Walking Around (RMBWA) inspections and document, correct, and/or escalate safety issues or hazards to the appropriate individuals or departments.
  • Respond quickly and directly to unsafe practices and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate level of management, including:
  • Incorrect use of hoists.
  • Poor placement of tools, cords, or ladders.
  • Missing cones or barriers.
  • Improper PPE usage.
