Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Material Handler for a well-established company located in North Austin. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, preparing materials and orders, and assisting with deliveries to jobsites. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, physically fit, safety-minded, and enjoys working as part of a team.
As a Material Handler, you’ll be responsible for:

Stocking and organizing material throughout the warehouse

Loading and unloading trucks

Pulling orders based on provided material lists
-
Pulling and preparing will-call orders for customers
-
Riding with company drivers on delivery trucks and delivering materials to jobsites
-
Assisting with the accurate and timely movement of materials
-
Maintaining warehouse housekeeping and organization
-
Keeping a safe, clean, and efficient workplace environment
-
Following all company safety procedures and guidelines

Assisting other warehouse team members as needed
What you’ll need:

Must be at least 18 years of age
-
Ability to read and write English
-
Bilingual skills preferred
-
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Physically fit and comfortable performing active warehouse duties

Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn
-
Ability to work well with others in a team environment

Strong attention to safety and workplace cleanliness

Somewhat clear background
