Material Handler in New Stanton, PA

This second shift opportunity runs Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm to 2am, with optional Friday overtime from 3pm to 11:30pm. Contractors will work in multiple areas within the department, including ship and receive areas, to track incoming and outgoing products using computer-based work orders. They will patrol with a cart and computer, ensuring accurate data input for all products handled. A key responsibility is shipping and receiving incoming products, collaborating with team members to package, label, and place items correctly for timely dispatch.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and provide proper documentation for all transactions.
  • Pull materials from stock for assigned jobs.
  • Transact materials to update the business system.
  • Physically receive and inspect incoming materials for damage.
  • Verify parts against packing lists to ensure accuracy and report discrepancies.
  • Deliver items to incoming quality inspection and store materials in designated areas.
  • Ensure timely delivery of parts to work centers or staging areas.
  • Handle, store, pack, label, and distribute materials to prevent damage and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Rearrange storage areas to accommodate parts and maintain cleanliness and order.
  • Prepare and package products for shipment according to instructions.
  • Complete shipping activities to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
  • Support first-in, first-out practices for inventory storage.
  • Assist in enforcing authorization processes for receiving or distributing materials.

Pay and Benefits
