Material Handler & Racker

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Material Handler/Racker to join our day shift team. If you thrive in a fast-paced, technical environment and take pride in ensuring every part is properly prepared for downstream finishing operations, this is the role for you. You'll spend your shift wiring and fixturing delicate parts onto rackssupporting cleaning, plating, and surface coating processeswhile helping maintain a safe, efficient workspace.

Pay: $17.00/hr + $2 raise after 4 months

Shift: 1st shift: 5:50am - 4:20pm, Monday - Thursday

Responsibilities

• Fixture parts onto designated racks per general instructions.
• Read and apply special instructions when required, ensuring correct part orientation and fixturing.
• Perform frequent counting of product to maintain accuracy and meet daily rack quotas.
• Inspect incoming parts and report any defects or questionable conditions immediately to the Department Lead.
• Keep work area and equipment clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations.
• Execute prescribed preventive maintenance on racking equipment as scheduled.
• Complete tasks as directed by the manufacturing schedule with minimal supervision, consistently meeting production targets.
• Collaborate with peers and leadership to support overall production demands and address issues promptly.

Work Environment

The position is based in a manufacturing facility where the main area is not climate-controlled. Employees are expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.70/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
