Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Oakwood, GA 30566
Duration: 06 Months Contract (Potential temp to Perm)
Pay Rate: $20/hr.
Shift Time: 1st shift, 5:00 am - 3:00 pm M-Th (some Fridays and Saturdays)
Shift Start Time: 5am shift start to 3pm shift end, Monday through Thursday plus some Fridays, possibly Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Retrieving & staging of materials
- Keep filling lines stocked with cans, pails, labels and other packaging materials, including operation of material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks with raw materials and packaging for use in Production.
- Load and monitor depalletizing equipment
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
- Experience operating material handling equipment including forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and 80 pounds on an occasional basis.
