Material Handler Shipping and Packing
This role supports a high-volume manufacturing operation by safely moving heavy pipe, valve, and flange products, staging them for shipment, and assisting with general warehouse and shop duties. You will work primarily in the shipping and packing department, using a sit-down forklift and other equipment to locate, move, shrink wrap, and palletize large fabricated materials for outbound orders during a 2-month contract that may extend depending on business needs and performance.

Work Environment
The role is based in a very large industrial facility that includes dedicated shipping, receiving, and inventory warehouse areas. The building is part of a multi-facility campus in Missouri City, Texas. The environment is non climate controlled and can become hot in the summer, although there are many fans throughout the area to improve airflow. You will work around heavy steel products, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment in an active production setting. The culture is close-knit, with approximately 2030 people on site who regularly interact and help each other across departments. The position follows a first-shift schedule of 5:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with the possibility of working later depending on production needs. As workload increases, Saturdays are becoming more common, and weekly hours will typically exceed 45 hours and may ramp up to 55 or more, providing significant overtime opportunities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
