Standard Job Description
This position is part of our Regional Equipment Pool (REP) Warehousing team based in Burnham, responsible for managing a fleet of vehicles and equipment, including Mercedes and MAN trucks—on behalf of the New Zealand Defence Force.
In this hands-on role, you will be involved in configuring and moving vehicles and equipment, receiving and issuing loaned items, coordinating their return with the customer and accounting for items when in storage.
A basic understanding of minor mechanical issues is beneficial, as you'll be required to identify basic faults.
Basic Qualifications
- Practical experience in a logistics based, customer focused role
- Physically fit as some heavy lifting is required
- Full Motor Vehicle licence essential – preference will be given to those with Class 2
- A Team player who is not afraid to get your hands dirty and is be happy to chip in to get the job done
