A Day in Your Life at MKS:This position will be reporting to Wilber Lopez.Principal Responsibilities:Responsible for performing the physical or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipmentUnpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessaryLifts heavy items and may operate a forkliftPrepares and maintains records of merchandise shippedPost weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipmentExamines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing linesMay prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customersRequired Skills:Experience in shipping, receiving and stores, and reading, writing and basic arithmetic skillsCompletion of high school, vocational training or equivalent is preferred1+ years of related experiencePhysical Demands & Working Conditions:Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift up to 50 lbsRegularly requires good manual dexterity and coordinationOccasionally moves/positions objects up to 50 poundsAbility to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the timeFrequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below, at, and above shoulder levelRegularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at and above shoulder levelMust be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understandMust be able to exchange accurate informationOperates in a professional office and/or laboratory/manufacturing/warehousing environmentConstantly operates a computer and other productivity machineryAbility to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards including handling mechanical and electrical hardware, high voltage, gas, water, and heatNoise level in the work environment is usually average#J- *-Ljbffr
