General Job Description
Under general supervision, distributes either production or non-production items and materials to various locations throughout the plant. Materials may consist of purchased parts, in-process parts, or finished golf cars and utility vehicles.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare golf carts and utility vehicles for shipment on various types of transportation equipment, including dry van trailers, ocean containers, reefers, and prep-capable trailers. This involves cleaning and some disassembly of vehicles as required.
- Ensure transportation equipment is clean and ramps are fully operational before shipment.
- Construct trailer decking for outbound shipments.
- Transport vehicles and parts to loading staging lanes.
- Complete loading inspections to ensure all products are loaded with good quality. Ensure work areas and other designated work areas are maintained in a safe and neat manner.
- Load vehicles and accessories according to the specified load sheet.
- Package parts for international and domestic shipments.
- Upload photos and load audit sheets to the loading database.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains a safe and productive work environment by ensuring the work area is clear of tools, brooms, debris, and other items that may present a hazard.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
- Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
Qualifications for the Job
Education:
- High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
Experience:
- Working knowledge of material handling equipment and warehouse operations preferred.

Physical Requirements
- Requires occasional lifting of objects of objects 25 to 50 pounds.
- This job requires working both indoors and outdoors and being exposed to various weather conditions.
- Work requires periodic stooping/bending and frequent walking/standing.
- Work involves activities that require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, or vehicles.
