As a Material Handler - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient movement and management of materials within our operations. Your efforts will ensure that production and supply chain activities run smoothly by handling, storing, and distributing materials in a timely and organized manner.

You will report directly to our supervisor and you’ll work out of our Urbana, OH location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the overall productivity and operational efficiency by ensuring materials are available where and when needed, supporting manufacturing and supply chain processes critical to meeting customer demand and business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials and supplies to maintain inventory accuracy and quality standards.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment or production use, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to internal or external customers.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas to promote safety and efficiency in material handling operations.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with inventory control and production teams to support cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Experience in material handling or warehouse operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices to support accurate stock control and material flow.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices related to material handling and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to use basic computer systems or warehouse management software to track and document material movements.

  • Previous experience in aerospace or related manufacturing industries is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate inventory and support production schedules.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
