This job posting is for an existing, active vacancy and we are looking to hire a MEAN Stack Developer (Wealth Management Platform).
Summary We are looking for a skilled MEAN Stack Developer with strong expertise in building scalable, cloud-native applications using MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js. The ideal candidate will contribute to developing end-to-end solutions for Wealth Management platforms, including customer-facing and advisor-facing digital applications.
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications for Wealth Management platforms using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js).
Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.
Develop responsive and dynamic front-end applications using Angular, ensuring seamless integration with backend services.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs supporting digital wealth journeys such as onboarding, portfolio management, transactions, and reporting.
Collaborate within Agile product teams including engineering, product, QE, security, and business stakeholders.
Contribute to cloud-native application development using containerization technologies and adhere to enterprise cloud, security, and compliance standards.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure production readiness through observability, scalability, performance tuning, and operational excellence.
Work closely with QE and DevSecOps teams to embed testing, automation, and security best practices throughout the SDLC.
Qualifications & Skills
5-8 years of full-stack development experience with strong expertise in the MEAN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js.
Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express framework.
Strong proficiency in Angular for developing scalable, component-based front-end applications.
Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
Experience developing and deploying applications on cloud-native platforms using Docker / Kubernetes / OpenShift.
Exposure to Azure or hybrid cloud environments is preferred.
Solid understanding of software design principles, microservices architecture, and API design.
Experience with Git, version control, coding standards, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in production support, monitoring, and troubleshooting using tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, or similar tools.
