Mechanical Assembler
Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a manufacturer of automated pay stations, change machines, and parking/car wash technology in Holland, OH. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be an essential part of our client's production team, ensuring that products are assembled, tested, and prepared to meet quality standards and customer specifications. The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling medium to heavy fabricated cabinets, using hand and power tools to complete assemblies, testing and calibrating components, and following established work instructions to ensure high-quality finished products.

Available shifts include:
- First Shift: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM4:30 PM
Responsibilities of the Final Production Prep & Assembly Associate:
- Assemble medium to heavy fabricated cabinets weighing 25300 pounds at designated workstations.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble products according to engineering and production specifications.
- Test and calibrate parts and mechanical components to ensure proper function and quality standards.
- Follow detailed work instructions and established production guidelines.
- Perform basic troubleshooting during the assembly process.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Work independently and collaboratively with the production team to meet daily production goals.
Required Qualifications of the Final Production Prep & Assembly Associate:
- Previous experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to read and follow assembly instructions.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to learn and retain multiple production processes.
- Ability to lift and maneuver components weighing up to 50 pounds regularly (heavier components may require team lifting or lifting equipment).
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
