Mechanical Engineer EIT - Mining Design

EXP is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Training specialized in mining design, based in Brampton, Sudbury, or North Bay, ON. Apply your engineering skills in a collaborative team environment.
As an EIT with EXP's Mining Team, you will focus on the design and layout of mechanical systems in mining environments. From conveyors to piping systems, your engineering expertise will help shape innovative solutions. You'll work closely with colleagues, harnessing the diverse strengths of the team to address complex challenges in the mining industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design mechanical processes for mining systems
• Create layouts using 2D and 3D tools
• Develop piping system designs for surface and underground
• Collaborate across various teams effectively
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional communication skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
