Key Responsibilities

Application Development Design: develop and deploy custom web and mobile applications using the Mendix platform.
Requirement Analysis: collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications and functional applications.
Integration: integrate Mendix applications with enterprise systems, databases, and external services using connectors, APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and potentially Java actions.
Maintenance and Support: troubleshoot, maintain and optimize existing applications to ensure performance, scalability, and security.
Agile Development: participate in project planning, estimation, code reviews, and Agile development methodologies.
Version Control: utilize tools like Git for effective code repository management.
Best Practices: stay updated on the latest Mendix features and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
CICD: implement and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines for Mendix applications.
Advanced Skills: in some roles this may include developing with AIML models and integrating them with Mendix apps.

Qualifications

Proven experience with the Mendix low-code platform.
Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
Familiarity with frontend technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is often beneficial.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Good problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a common requirement.
