Mendix DevOps Engineer

THE WORK

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines tailored for Mendix application delivery.

• Provide 3rd line support for Mendix applications and environments, ensuring service stability and reliability.

• Manage Mendix application deployments across Azure, AWS, Cloud Foundry, and Mendix Cloud environments.

• Containerize and orchestrate Mendix runtime environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Set up, maintain, and continuously improve monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities for Mendix applications.

• Implement and enforce security best practices including secrets management, access controls, and vulnerability scanning.

• Collaborate with Mendix developers, QA specialists, architects, and product teams to automate and optimize release processes.

• Integrate, maintain, and troubleshoot REST and SOAP services consumed by Mendix applications.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote DevOps best practices across the team.

• Stay up to date with Mendix platform developments and evaluate opportunities to improve platform operations and delivery.

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office - depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with the Mendix Low-Code platform.

• Experience building, deploying, and supporting Mendix applications in cloud environments.

• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and automation tools.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Understanding of cloud platforms, including Azure and/or AWS.

• Experience with SQL and relational database technologies.

• Knowledge of REST and SOAP integrations.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.

• Very good command of English.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to operational excellence.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Mendix Advanced Developer Certification.

• Experience with Mendix pluggable widgets.

• Experience developing custom Java actions within Mendix.

• Knowledge of security tooling, vulnerability management, and infrastructure monitoring solutions.
