Mid - Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of engineering work through to early September.
• Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications and services.
• Work across microservices architecture, with NEF experience highly regarded.
• Develop and maintain scripts, ideally using PowerShell.
• Support integration and event-based solutions, including Kafka topics where required.
• Assist with search/logging platform work, including OpenSearch or Splunk to OpenSearch migration activities.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, deliver enhancements and maintain quality outcomes.
• Contribute to documentation, testing and deployment activities as needed.

About you

• .NET experience is desirable.
• Proven scripting capability, ideally with PowerShell.
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments.
• Prior NAB experience will be highly regarded.
  
• Exposure to microservices architectures, particularly NEF, would be advantageous.
• Kafka topics experience is beneficial.
• OpenSearch experience, or involvement in Splunk to OpenSearch migrations, would be highly regarded.
• Melbourne-based and available for an engagement through to early September.
