What you will do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Implement data storage solutions using AWS services and Aurora Postgres (RDS).
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve our products and development processes.
Must haves
- Proficiency in React.js and Node.js, with a deep understanding of their core principles and best practices.
- Experience with AWS services, particularly those relevant to web development and deployment.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with Aurora Postgres (RDS) or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Nice to haves
- Experience with other front-end frameworks and libraries such as Angular or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Background in financial services or industry-specific knowledge related to Bloomberg Industry Group’s focus areas.
