Middle Python Engineer – Document App Track, within the Document Domain team. The role focuses on building and maintaining the core document creation, editing, and management features that power our product.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the vision and architecture of the document domain.
Identify and resolve scale‑related technical challenges.
Detect and address systematic issues to keep low time‑to‑change and high change‑confidence for other developers.
Improve system reliability and maintain high quality standards.
Enhance developer experience and evolve the document platform to support new product capabilities.
Help shape long‑term domain excellence strategy.
Qualifications
At least 3+ years of development experience with Python.
Experience with relational databases (SQL queries, migrations, optimization).
Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ, NATS, or Kafka.
Understanding of event‑based systems and basic domain‑driven design concepts.
Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with AsyncIO.
Good grasp of the full development cycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and monitoring.
Hands‑on experience building applications in both monolithic and microservice architectures.
Effective communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
Technology Stack
Microservice fleet around a large monolithic application in Django.
PostgreSQL, Redis, Memcached.
Python, Django.
Amazon Web Services.
Docker, Kubernetes.
Kafka, NATS.
AsyncIO.
