Summary:
As an Industrial Millwright, your role is critical to the reputation that Ebco has built for delivering world-class quality manufacturing, and repair & rebuild services to projects based domestically and worldwide. You will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on all machinery in the plant.
What You'll Do:
- Working on and assembling large machinery and various other equipment.
- Troubleshooting difficult repairs and installations to ensure a timely repair or set up of machinery and equipment.
- Carrying out machine gear box overhauls.
- Detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions.
- Performing standard maintenance on large overhead cranes.
- Experience on diesel, engine and propane powered forklifts is essential
What You'll Bring:
Technical Experience:
- 3-5 years’ experience as a ticketed Millwright
- Experience working on and assembling large machinery and equipment
- Red Seal endorsement is desired or the willingness to challenge for the red seal endorsement
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot difficult repairs, troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
- Knowledge of machine gear boxes and repairs, as well as a variety of machining and fabrication equipment
- Perform standard maintenance on large overhead cranes.
- Knowledge of diesel, engine and propane powered forklifts is essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing and speaking).
Special Requirements:
- This is a physically demanding position requiring a person to lift or move 50 lbs.
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts in a moderately noisy environment.
- Fast paced environment with priorities that often change to meet current problems.
- Working at heights is required.
- Over time and some weekend work is required.
Location : Richmond (In-Person)
Salary : $45.06 - $46.21 / hour
