Mobile Backend Developer -Java

We have an exciting opportunity for the position of Mobile Backend Developer with one of our reputed clients.

Job title: Mobile Backend Developer

Experience required: 8+Yrs.

Location: Noida (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend applications using JSP, Java and Spring Boot following organizational coding standards
• Design and expose RESTful APIs to support business and integration requirements
• Implement ORM-based data access layers using frameworks such as Hibernate / JPA
• Work with Oracle Database for schema design, SQL development, and query optimization
• Deploy, configure, and support applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in compliance with organizational cloud standards
• Participate in requirement analysis and sprint ceremonies
• Adhere to secure development practices and ensure code quality
• Perform unit testing and assist in integration, system, and user acceptance testing
• Analyze and resolve defects across development, test, and production environments
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including QA and DevOps

Required Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Core Java and object-oriented programming principles
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring ecosystem components
• Working knowledge of ORM frameworks such as Hibernate / JPA
• Fundamental understanding of caching concepts and common caching strategies
• Experience with Oracle Database, including SQL and basic performance tuning
• Hands on to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
• Understanding of REST APIs
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git/Bitbucket)
• Basic knowledge of Agile development methodologies

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to a microservices architecture
• Familiarity with distributed caching solutions (e.g., Redis, Ehcache, or similar)
• Working knowledge of Docker and container-based deployments
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated build tools
• Awareness of application security, performance, and scalability considerations
