We are seeking an experienced MBD Controls Engineer with strong expertise in control algorithm development, MATLAB/Simulink, model-based verification and validation, and thermal simulation. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and verifying control algorithms and supporting laboratory testing and system performance improvements.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and refine control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink.
Ensure control algorithms meet system specifications and performance requirements.
Develop and execute unit and integration tests for control algorithms.
Utilize MATLAB, Simulink, and FMI Toolbox for model-based verification and validation.
Analyze simulation and laboratory test results to identify control-related issues.
Implement corrective actions to improve system performance, functionality, and reliability.
Support sustaining engineering activities and ongoing control-system improvements.
Perform and support thermal simulations and model-based analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams during development, verification, and testing.
Master s degree in Control Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in control algorithm development and implementation.
Strong hands-on experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
Experience with model-based development (MBD) and model-based verification/validation.
Experience with FMI/FMI Toolbox is required.
Strong experience developing unit and integration tests for control algorithms.
Experience analyzing laboratory test results and troubleshooting control-related issues.
Experience with thermal simulation and sustaining engineering preferred.
