Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Data & Platform Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable data and software solutions. The role focuses on Python development, data engineering, platform operations, automation, and production support.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development & Data Engineering
- Design, develop, and support scalable software and data solutions using Python and related technologies.
- Takes end-to-end ownership of deliverables, operational stability, and outcomes.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, integrations, and automation workflows
- Contribute to automated testing and quality engineering practices.
DevOps & Platform Operations
- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Support application deployments, release management, and operational readiness.
- Monitor application and platform health using Grafana and other monitoring tools.
Production Support & Reliability
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to improve system reliability.
- Optimize application performance through debugging, tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Contribute to process, tool, and engineering practice improvements.
- Collaborative team player with a strong sense of shared ownership.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
Problem Solving & Critical Thinking
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to evaluate complex situations and deliver effective, sustainable solutions.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology solutions to business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
Technical Expertise
- 8–10 years of experience in Python, DevOps, Azure Cloud, Grafana, and Automation Testing
- Design, build, and support scalable data pipelines, CI/CD automation, and production platforms.
- strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with product teams and clients to deliver reliable, automation-driven solutions.
DevSecOps & Quality
- Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
- Familiarity with tools like SonarQube, Mend, or similar
Modern Engineering
- Exposure to AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
- Strong understanding of secure coding and vulnerability management
Preferred Qualifications
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Oil & Gas domain exposure (E&P preferred)
- Ability to balance hands-on development and leadership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
