We are looking for a Sr Integration Architect.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide overall direction, guidance, and definition of enterprise architecture within the Integration space to support business strategy.Work with Business, Digital and IT stakeholders to develop integration architecture and roadmap, owning EA integration strategy and roadmap for business and technology perspectives, including 'as-is', 'to-be', and transitional states.Contribute to development of application solution architectures.Support Solution Architecture documentation (HLD/LLD) preparation and review.Analyse API designs and approve them or recommend reusable & standards‐based improvements.Engage with stakeholders to ensure early involvement of Architecture, influencing policy, and setting direction for technical and business change.Define application & API costing models, ensuring gathering costing information with other departments.Design and develop scalable API architectures meeting business requirements.Lead integration of enterprise applications using Mule Soft, focusing on API and event‐based designs.Define, coach, and implement API standards and best practices to ensure high‐quality services.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Advocate strong governance, steer design and support implementation (enablement mindset).
Analyse performance metrics and implement optimisation strategies.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to API integration.QualificationsSolid experience as a Solution/Application architect or working in Enterprise Architecture teams.Experience with Mulesoft, BOOMI, IIB, SNAP Logic, and Tibco i Way middleware (preferred); other middleware experience highly appreciated.BSc degree majoring in IT, computer science, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong knowledge of architecture methodologies, principles, frameworks.Results oriented, able to maintain focus on objectives in a multi‐task demanding environment.Ability to simplify complex technical information using accessible language for non‐technical audiences.Good problem‐solving and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Fluent in English.Proven Integration Architecture experience focused on APIs‐based architecture.Strong business operational mindset with pragmatic approach to delivery and operations.Preferred QualificationsTrack record of leadership and influence.Experience with Graph QL and event‐driven architecture.Certifications in API management or cloud services.Johnson Controls does not request pregnancy or HIV testing as a condition for hiring, continued employment, or promotion, in accordance with its commitment to labor equality and non‐discrimination.
