About the Role
We're seeking an experienced MuleSoft Developer to design, build, and implement integrations between various enterprise systems and Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). This role is critical to laying the integration foundation ahead of an OTM implementation. The ideal candidate has strong MuleSoft expertise, a solid understanding of transportation and logistics processes, and experience integrating with ERP, TMS, or related platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement MuleSoft integrations connecting internal and external systems to Oracle Transportation Management.
- Work closely with business analysts, architects, and functional teams to understand data flows and integration requirements.
- Develop integration APIs, data transformations, and message orchestration to support OTM's inbound and outbound interfaces.
- Configure and optimize MuleSoft Anypoint Platform components (API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, etc.) for integration performance and security.
- Collaborate with Oracle functional and technical teams to align integration design with OTM architecture and implementation timelines.
- Conduct unit, system, and integration testing to ensure reliability and accuracy of data exchanges.
- Support deployment, troubleshooting, and production stabilization of MuleSoft integrations.
- Document integration flows, API specifications, and configuration details for knowledge transfer and future maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a MuleSoft Developer or Integration Engineer.
- Proven experience designing and delivering MuleSoft integrations with enterprise systems, ideally in transportation or logistics contexts.
- Hands-on experience with Mule 4, DataWeave, Anypoint Studio, and API-led connectivity patterns.
- Familiarity with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) data structures, integration touchpoints, or similar TMS platforms.
- Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and integration best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control (e.g., Git), and environment promotion processes for MuleSoft.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- MuleSoft certification(s) such as MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 or 2.
- Prior experience on pre-implementation integration projects for OTM or other Oracle Supply Chain products.
- Knowledge of transportation processes such as shipment planning, tendering, execution, and freight settlement.
- Experience with message queuing systems, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), or API gateways.
- Familiarity with security protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML, SSL/TLS).
