Overview

NET Software Engineer — Location: Canberra, ACT. Schedule: Australian Business Hours (40 hours/week). Employment Type: Contract (12 months). Employment Arrangement: On-site. Security Clearance: Must obtain Baseline.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Azure-based web API and Portal applications to support existing legislative reporting requirements, and new regulatory processes.
Integrate various system components to achieve a seamless end-to-end experience for users.
Provide technical advice on issues related to systems development.
Apply secure coding practices to ensure solutions delivered are secure and robust.
Conduct peer reviews of code and infrastructure.
Create and review technical/release documentation.
Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams working in an agile structure.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in .NET development (.NET Core, ASP.NET)
Strong experience with Azure services (API Manager, Logic Apps, SQL, Service Bus)
Experience with front-end frameworks (Angular or React)
Familiarity with testing tools such as xUnit, nUnit, Selenium, or Playwright
Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines; strong understanding of secure application development practices
