We are seeking a Senior .NET Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain complex enterprise software applications. This role bridges the gap between stabilizing robust legacy systems and building modern web solutions.
Position Details
- Location: Lansing, MI (Candidates must be local within 90 miles at the time of application)
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (non-negotiable). Onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays; Remote Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
- Type: 1-Year Initial Contract (with extension potential)
Core Technical Requirements
To qualify, you must have 8+ years of verifiable, hands-on experience across the following pillars:
- Full-Stack .NET (8+ Years): Advanced development using C#, .NET Framework 4.8, ASP.NET MVC 5, and legacy Web Forms. Experience with legacy reporting tools (RDLC / Crystal Reports) is highly valued.
- Database Engineering (6+ Years): Strong relational database modeling, schema design, and query optimization in an enterprise Oracle 19c environment using Toad/OSD. Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Frontend Development (6+ Years): Deep expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES5/ES6), with a strict adherence to WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
- Integrations & Security (4+ Years): Secure API design (REST / SOAP), robust error handling, and modern authentication/authorization flows (OAuth2 / OIDC).
Preferred Bonus Skills
- Experience with .NET Core, Dependency Injection, and Blazor.
- Creating custom .NET libraries or using PowerShell for automation tasks.
