NET / Azure Engineer
Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
6+months (with a possibility of extension)
8 hours/day (Mon-Fri).
100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in India)
Core Backend Engineering
- Advanced proficiency in one or more backend languages (e.g. C#/.NET)
- Strong understanding of object‐oriented and/or functional design principles
- Design and implementation of scalable, maintainable backend services
- Deep experience with API design (REST, OpenAPI, versioning, backwards compatibility)
- Strong grasp of error handling, retries, idempotency, and resilience patterns
Cloud Architecture & Azure Platform Expertise
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure PaaS services, including:
- Azure App Service / Container Apps / AKS
- Azure Functions (event‐driven and durable patterns)
- Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hubs
- Azure Storage (Blob, Queue, Table)
Data & Persistence
- Advanced experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, Azure SQL) including:
- Query optimisation
- Indexing strategies
- Transaction management
- Hands‐on experience with NoSQL data stores, particularly Cosmos DB
- Partition strategy design
- Consistency models
- Experience with data access abstraction patterns and ORMs
- Understanding of data integrity, migration, and schema evolution
Security & Compliance Engineering
- Secure API and service design including:
- OAuth2 / OpenID Connect
- Managed identities
- Knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID integration patterns
