Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. This role focuses on delivering robust back-end services with modern .NET technologies and delivering high-quality APIs, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong OOP fundamentals, solid SQL Server expertise, and a commitment to clean code, performance optimization, and reliable software delivery that supports the organization’s strategic goals.

Software Requirements

Required Skills (Essential)

  • Proficiency in .NET technologies (C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework) for enterprise application development

  • Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns

  • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and web services

  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server, including stored procedures, optimization, and data modeling

  • Proficiency with version control systems (Git; GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)

  • Experience with development tools and methodologies in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and cloud-based deployment

  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3) and modern frameworks

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tooling

  • Exposure to automated testing frameworks and performance optimization techniques

  • Any Microsoft certification (e.g., MCP/MCSD/Azure Developer) is a plus


Overall Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET applications and APIs aligned with business requirements

  • Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX teams, and backend developers to translate requirements into technical solutions

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews and ensure quality standards

  • Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, security, and reliability across environments

  • Contribute to architecture decisions and implement best practices across the development lifecycle

  • Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines; assist with automated testing and deployments

  • Maintain functional documentation, technical specifications, and operational manuals

  • Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing within the team

  • Domain experience in finance, banking, or other regulated industries is a plus

  • Alternative pathways: extensive project experience with .NET-based digital platforms or relevant certifications

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Develop and maintain back-end services and RESTful APIs using .NET

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and plan iterations

  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimization

  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement robust fixes

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment efforts

  • Document architecture, coding standards, and deployment procedures

  • Mentor junior developers and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development

  • Certifications in .NET or cloud platforms are a plus
