Senior .NET Developer / Technical Lead
POSITION INFO:
Overview We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer \/ Technical Lead with extensive experience designing and delivering modern enterprise applications using the Microsoft technology stack. This role requires a highly experienced engineer with 10+ years of professional development experience who is capable of driving technical architecture, mentoring developers, and delivering scalable systems built on modern .NET technologies. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in C#, modern .NET, Blazor development, and SQL Server, with strong experience implementing clean architecture patterns such as CQRS and MediatR, and building highly scalable service-oriented systems. This individual will play a key role in shaping development standards, guiding architecture decisions, and ensuring high engineering quality across projects. Key Responsibilities - Technical Leadership • Provide technical leadership and architectural direction for development teams. • Drive adoption of clean architecture, domain-driven design principles, and modern development practices. • Establish and enforce coding standards, architectural patterns, and development best practices. • Conduct code reviews and architectural reviews to ensure maintainability and quality. • Mentor developers and assist in growing technical capability across the team. Key Responsibilities - Software Development • Design and develop enterprise applications using C# and modern .NET (9 \/ 10). • Build modern web applications using Blazor and component frameworks such as MudBlazor. • Create highly reusable frameworks and shared libraries using NuGet packages. • Implement generic abstractions and reusable infrastructure components. • Develop high-quality front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and SCSS. Architecture & System Design • Design and implement Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Microservices architectures. • Build event-driven systems using messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ. • Implement modern architectural patterns including CQRS, MediatR, and domain-driven design principles. • Work with architecture tools such as Intent Architect to generate scalable application frameworks. • Ensure systems are designed for scalability, maintainability, and performance. Database & Data Layer (Critical Skill Area) This role requires extremely strong SQL expertise. The candidate must be able to design, analyze, and optimize complex database solutions. Responsibilities include: • Designing and maintaining high-performance SQL Server database schemas. • Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries and stored procedures. • Diagnosing and resolving database performance bottlenecks. • Designing indexing strategies and query optimization techniques. • Working with large datasets and efficient data access patterns. • Understanding transaction handling, locking, and concurrency issues. Strong experience is required with: • Entity Framework Core • Query performance tuning • Efficient data access strategies • Designing data models for high-performance applications The candidate should understand when to use Entity Framework Core, raw SQL, and when to optimize queries to avoid ORM performance issues. DevOps & Delivery • Design and maintain CI\/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. • Implement automated build, testing, and deployment pipelines. • Manage version control using Git. • Ensure reliable deployments across environments. • Assist with production support and runtime diagnostics. • Deploy and support applications hosted on IIS.
