.NET Full-Stack Software Engineer- Angular (Remote)
We are seeking a .NET Full-Stack Software Engineer- Angular to join a leading global aerospace company. In this role, you will be responsible for design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using C#/.NET, Angular, SQL Server, REST APIs, and modern software architecture practices.
This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week (4-day 10-hour shifts per week) role, this is a remote role in US.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen to access system data
- 8+ years of experience with fullstack software development
- Bachelors Degree
Software Architecture & Design
- Design and evolution of scalable, maintainable, and secure software architectures
- Deep understanding and practical application of SOLID principles, DRY, KISS, and Clean Architecture
- Vertical Slice Architecture for feature-oriented design and reduced coupling
- System design for high availability, fault tolerance, and performance
- Experience with layered, hexagonal, microservices, and modular monolith architectures
- Event-driven architecture concepts (events, publishers/subscribers, eventual consistency)
- API design (REST), versioning, and backward compatibility
- Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts, bounded contexts, and aggregates
- Strong understanding of software design pattern concepts (creational, structural, behavioral patterns)
Backend Development (.NET / C#)
- Advanced C# and .NET (.NET Core) development
- Asynchronous programming (async/await, Task-based patterns)
- Dependency Injection, middleware pipelines, and configuration management
- Building and securing Web APIs (authentication and authorization)
- Event publishing and consumption (in-process and distributed events)
- Performance tuning, memory management, and profiling
- Data access using Entity Framework Core and Dapper
- Unit, integration, and contract testing
Data & Persistence
- Strong SQL Server expertise (T-SQL, indexing, query optimization)
- Data modeling aligned with vertical slices and bounded contexts
- Transaction management, concurrency control, and optimistic locking
- Strategic use of ORMs vs micro-ORMs based on performance and complexity
- Understanding of different data consistency models
Frontend Development
- Advanced Angular (or comparable frameworks: React, Vue)
- Strong TypeScript proficiency with strict typing
- Event-driven state management (event bus, observable streams, signal-based patterns)
- Component-based architecture with decoupled communication patterns
- Tailwind CSS for utility-first, scalable UI styling
- HTML5, modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid), responsive and accessible UI design
- Efficient integration with REST APIs and large data sets
Cloud & DevOps
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Containerization with Docker and orchestration basics (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Infrastructure fundamentals: scalability, load balancing, networking, secrets management
- Monitoring, logging, and observability practices
Event-Driven Systems
- Designing systems around domain and integration events
- Message brokers and streaming platforms (e.g., Azure Service Bus, Kafka)
- Event versioning, idempotency, retries, and failure handling strategies
- Decoupling backend services and frontend modules through events
Algorithms & Problem Solving
- Strong logical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Ability to algorithmize complex business problems into efficient solutions
- Performance and complexity analysis
Quality & Best Practices
- Test-driven and behavior-driven development practices
- Code review participation and adherence to coding standards
- Secure coding practices and defensive programming techniques
- Technical documentation of system architecture, design decisions, and system
interactions
Collaboration
- Clear communication with cross-functional teams
- Translating business requirements into event-driven, slice-based solutions
- Strong ownership mindset from design through production
Tooling & Engineering Practices
- Git and advanced branching strategies
- Agile/Scrum or similar delivery methodologies
- Experience with issue tracking and project management tools
- Continuous learning and adaptation to evolving technologies and design patterns
