As an Application Developer Specialist, you will be part of the Global Custom Software Solutions team, contributing to the development of PPG's core Digital Commerce platforms. You will help build scalable applications that integrate with multiple internal systems, helping our global partners purchase and receive PPG products. You will report to IT Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze detailed business, functional, and technical requirements for digital platforms (Customer Experience and eCommerce).
- Develop scalable applications as a member of an Agile Scrum team, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Support application testing, maintenance, and evolution by resolving bugs and implementing enhancements.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Security, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Adopt and promote QA and CI/CD tools such as ReSharper, SonarQube, Checkmarx, and BrowserStack.
- Provide on-call support and help with production issue resolution.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience with C# .NET development, including .NET Core, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework.
- Experience with a relational database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Fluent in English.
