We are looking for a
Senior Network Automation Engineer
. In this role, you will define and drive the core automation strategy, converting traditional infrastructure into a scalable, automated Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) ecosystem across a multi-vendor network and security environment.
Key Responsibilities
Define coding standards and maintain
Ansible
infrastructure (playbooks, roles, plugins) using
Netbox
as the Source of Truth.
Design automated workflows for multi-vendor environments (
Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet
) while coordinating network and security teams.
Automate device onboarding (switches, firewalls, APs) and implement
GitLab
pipelines for network changes and automated testing.
Develop real-time validation scripts (BGP, interface status) and automate Juniper data center fabrics (
VXLAN-EVPN
architecture).
Manage Git repositories with strict branching strategies, automate secure backups/failovers, and generate automated topology diagrams and dashboards.
Key Requirements
Proficiency in
Python
(networking libraries: Netmiko, NAPALM, PyEZ, Nornir), Bash/Shell scripting, YAML/JSON, Ansible, and Jinja2 templating.
Advanced experience with Ansible, Git version control, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
Netconf, Restconf, gNMI, gNOI, and Vendor-specific REST APIs.
Strong experience in Linux system administration (
Red Hat Linux
), including shell scripting, system configuration, performance tuning, and network tool integration.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of Layer 2/3 protocols, overlay/underlay technologies (VXLAN-EVPN), SNMP, NetFlow/sFlow, and streaming telemetry.
Grafana, Kibana, Coralogix, Prometheus, PowerBI, JIRA, Netbrain, LogicMonitor, Infoblox.
