Job Summary We are seeking a RAN Virtualization OA&M Engineer with strong experience in OAMP/FCAPS, OSS, EMS/NMS, and 4G/5G RAN network management. The ideal candidate will serve as a Tier 3 SME supporting commercial wireless network deployments, troubleshooting complex network management issues, and driving root cause analysis with R&D teams.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with OAMP, FCAPS, OSS, EMS/NMS, and RAN network elements
- Experience supporting 4G/5G wireless networks
- Tier 3 SME experience troubleshooting EMS/NMS application issues
- Experience with OAMP/FCAPS subsystem design and development
- Experience creating and implementing EMS/NMS software upgrade MOPs
- Strong knowledge of SNMP, TNM, OSS/NMS interfaces
- Experience with TR-069, NETCONF, YANG Models, and REST APIs
- Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Shell, Perl, or TCL scripting
- Experience with High Availability (HA) and redundancy systems
- Bachelor's Degree in EE, CS, Telecommunications, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- NFV experience with vCU/vDU architectures
- OpenStack and Kubernetes experience
- Knowledge of ONAP, ETSI MANO, and OASIS TOSCA
- VMware/OpenStack performance tuning
- Understanding of 3GPP Core and RAN architectures
- Experience with SR-IOV, VirtIO, VLANs, SAN, NAS, and iSCSI
- Java, J2EE, JavaScript, SOAP, XML, HTML, and Web Services experience
Responsibilities:
- Support OAMP/FCAPS subsystem integration and troubleshooting.
- Act as Tier 3 SME for EMS/NMS application support.
- Drive RCA investigations with R&D teams.
- Support deployment of virtualized RAN and network management solutions.
- Translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
- Support software releases, upgrades, and new feature introductions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance during customer engagements and product rollouts.
