We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer with strong backend development experience and hands‑on expertise in GitHub for source code management, branching strategies, code reviews, CI/CD integration, and collaborative development. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing scalable APIs, microservices, and cloud‑native applications while following modern software engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, consume, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Develop server‑side logic, database integrations, and application workflows.
- Repository management.
- Branching and merging strategies.
- Pull Requests (PRs).
- Code reviews.
- Release management.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
- Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and actively participate in sprint ceremonies.

- Strong experience with Node.js development.
- Hands‑on experience with GitHub, including:

- Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of:
- REST APIs
- JSON
- JWT
- OAuth
- API security
- Experience with databases such as:
- MongoDB
- MySQL
- DynamoDB
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming and event‑driven architecture.
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as:
- AWS
- GCP
- Understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and secure coding standards.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD implementation.
Familiarity with Monitoring Tools
- Splunk
- Grafana
- ELK Stack
Experience in Specific Industries
- Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or large Enterprise environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced Agile environment.
