We are seeking an experienced Senior Node.js Engineer to provide technical leadership and ensure quality, strategic direction and team management across migration and application development projects.
In this role, you will coordinate with technical and business stakeholders, define standards and support the resolution of critical issues while fostering continuous improvement in dynamic environments.ResponsibilitiesEnsure best practices and maintainability while performing critical code reviews to guarantee the technical quality of deliverablesCoordinate with architecture and infrastructure teams to translate complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholders and facilitate informed decision‐makingDefine the production release strategy and support critical deployments to ensure a smooth transitionMake technical decisions, resolve doubts and define technological paths for the teamShare knowledge with the team to support its growth and promote good practicesMaintain coding standards and the version control strategyEstimate realistic development times to support project planningDiagnose root causes of failures, support SIT/UAT environments and assist in bug resolutionAssist developers in resolving critical technical issues and roadblocksRequirementsAt least 3 years of experience in technical leadership responsible for quality, strategic direction and team managementExtensive experience in Java and Node.js application development and architectureKnowledge of Kubernetes, WAS and JBossProficiency in version control using GitLeadership skills alongside effective communication and the ability to manage both technical and team aspectsFocus on quality, best practices and continuous improvementCapability to work in dynamic environments and coordinate with multiple business and technology areas
