Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) Developer with strong expertise in data modeling, BI reporting, and analytics. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable BI solutions using OAS, ensuring high performance, data accuracy, and meaningful business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop semantic models (RPD) including Physical, Business Model, and Presentation layers
• Create and maintain subject areas, hierarchies, logical dimensions, and KPIs
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using OAS / Oracle BI tools
• Implement data security (row-level, object-level, data filters) using session variables
• Perform query optimization and performance tuning in OAS
• Work on data integration from multiple sources such as Oracle DB, SQL Server, flat files, etc.
• Manage fact and dimension tables, joins, and ensure proper star schema design
• Develop and maintain logical calculations, aggregations, and KPIs
• Design and implement security configurations and application roles
• Troubleshoot and resolve data, performance, and reporting issues
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements
• Support UAT, deployments, and production issues

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) / OBIEE
• Expertise in RPD development and metadata modeling
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL (queries, procedures, performance tuning)
• Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema)
• Hands-on experience in logical dimensions, hierarchies, and level-based measures
• Experience in security implementation (session variables, filters)
• Basic knowledge of ETL tools, especially Informatica (workflows, mappings, data flow concepts)
• Experience in KPI development and dashboard reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3–8 years of experience in BI / OAS / OBIEE development
• Familiarity with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) is a plus
• Exposure to data integration and ETL processes
