Summary
HWI, a member of Calderys, is seeking motivated upcoming graduates to join our (FIRE) Operations and Engineering Rotational Development Program. This program is designed to develop future engineering and operations leaders through hands-on experience across our manufacturing facilities.
Participants will complete rotational assignments that provide exposure to engineering, manufacturing, operations, maintenance, quality, and continuous improvement. You will work on meaningful projects, receive mentorship, develop leadership skills, and build a strong understanding of our business.
Through this robust rotational program, you will be a crucial member of the organization with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the business by sharing your innovative ideas with team members and leadership. Developmental assignments will be determined by business needs, and you will receive additional learning and personal development opportunities to supplement your technical growth. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will transition into a full-time position at one of our manufacturing facilities, with opportunities in plant leadership or plant engineering based on business needs, individual strengths, and career interests.
Developmental Components
Obtain first-hand experience and business exposure to accelerate your cross-functional knowledge by interacting with various groups within the organization
Complete rotational assignments at multiple manufacturing facilities across the United States
Participate in and lead projects that contribute to the success of the organization
Exposure to HWI's global operations through collaboration with international teams, with the opportunity, based on business needs, to potentially complete a project at one of our global facilities
Defined onboarding program including Plant Operations, Environmental Health & Safety, Business Acumen, and Leadership Training

Requirements
BS Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Chemical, Industrial, Ceramic, Electrical, Mechanical); Materials Science, or Operations Management
3.0 Cumulative GPA or better
At least one work experience, internship, or co-op in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Eager to immerse in different company locations through heavy travel and relocation, supporting multi-site operational excellence
Highly driven to lead others, learn new skills, adapt to new environments, and help drive our culture of innovation
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with employees, leaders, and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Physical and Environmental Requirements
Physical Activity: Requires more than 2/3 of time sitting and talking or hearing; 1/3 to 2/3 of time standing, walking, using hands/fingers to handle and/or feel and reaching with hands and arms; less than 1/3 of time climbing or balancing and stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
Lifting: Requires lifting up to 10 pounds less than 1/3 of time.
Vision: Requires accurate close and distance vision.
Environment: Requires more than 2/3 of the time working in an office setting with very limited exposure.
