HIRING || Oracle DBA Developer || Hybrid at Andares Guadalajara, MX
Role Summary: The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of mission-critical database environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases (19c/21c)
- Manage database environments across DEV, SIT, UAT, and PROD
- Perform database patching, upgrades, and migrations
- Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL code
- Manage RMAN backups, restores, and disaster recovery processes
- Administer Oracle Database Appliance (ODA), including patching and monitoring
- Configure and support Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), including repositories and agents
- Monitor system performance and resolve database-related issues
- Implement security controls, encryption, and auditing to meet compliance requirements
- Support High Availability solutions such as Data Guard
- Participate in incident management, RCA, and change implementation
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database Administration
- Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills
- Experience with ODI (installation, configuration, and support)
- Knowledge of ODA platform (deployment, patching using odacli)
- Expertise in RMAN backup and recovery
- Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Oracle Linux)
- Familiarity with Data Guard (RAC is a plus)
