The Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer will design, develop, and optimize complex database solutions within enterprise environments.
This role requires strong expertise in Oracle database technologies, high-volume data processing, and performance tuning to build scalable, high-performing data solutions that support critical business operationsQualifications:+5 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL developmentStrong expertise in Oracle Database (12c, 19c, or later)Advanced proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and reportsExperience with SQL Developer or equivalent toolsHands-on experience with SQL Loader and bulk data processingWorking knowledge of Linux/Unix shell scriptingADVANCED ENGLISH IS A MUSTHybrid role in any of our 4 locations: Guadalajara, CDMX, Monterrey or QueretaroIn this role you will:Design and develop scalable solutions using Oracle database technologiesDevelop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, and functionsBuild high-performance data processing solutions, including bulk data loads and batch processingPerform database performance tuning using AWR, TKPROF, and related diagnostic toolsImplement table and index partitioning strategies and data purging techniquesDevelop and manage automated data loads using SQL Loader and similar toolsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutionsSupport database upgrades, patching, and system enhancementsDevelop shell scripts to automate database and batch operationsWhy Cognizant?
