Order Entry Representative
Are you detail-oriented, customer-focused, and experienced in a manufacturing environment? Our client in Broadview is seeking an Order Entry Representative to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone who excels at managing customer orders, navigating ERP systems, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage order status inquiries and provide timely updates to customers.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, shipping, and sales teams to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
- Review orders for accuracy and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain customer accounts and order documentation within the ERP system.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, shipments, and order status.
- Assist with order tracking, inventory inquiries, and problem resolution.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through professional communication and follow-through.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of order entry, customer service, or account support experience.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Experience using SAP or a comparable ERP system is required.
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience coordinating with production and logistics teams.
- Knowledge of order processing and inventory management workflows.
- Strong customer service mindset and relationship-building abilities.
