Outbound Order Processor

This role is crucial as it involves distributing medical device implants that are essential for surgeries. The Outbound Order Processor is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing medical products for shipment in a fast-paced distribution center. This position ensures timely and accurate order fulfillment while adhering to quality standards, safety regulations, and industry guidelines. Duties may include breaking down boxes, performing housekeeping tasks, and working as a floor picker based on business demands.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare medical products for shipment.
  • Maintain compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Utilize computer software for order processing.
  • Perform cycle counting and audits.
  • Verify orders and ensure accurate fulfillment.
  • Use RF scan guns for order picking.
  • Adapt to fast-paced production and picking environments.
  • Load and process inbound and outbound shipments.

Essential Skills

  • Previous high-volume production experience in outbound processing is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in using scanners and basic computer systems.
  • Experience with WMS, SAP, and RF scan guns.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40-50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior experience in warehouse, distribution, or order fulfillment is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime or weekends as needed.
  • Consistent work history in similar roles.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and organized, climate-controlled warehouse with a strong emphasis on teamwork. Shifts are from 10 am to 6:30 pm with flexibility for additional hours on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Saturday shifts may start at 5 am and last until around 12 pm or 1 pm. Candidates cannot bring cell phones into the building, and lockers are available but currently out of use. No headphones are allowed on the floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Southaven, MS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
