Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday | 10:15 PM - 8:15 AM
Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions is seeking a compassionate and dependable Program Assistant to provide overnight support for children with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities in a residential setting. This position is covering a leave of absence and offers the potential for long-term or permanent placement within one of the residences on campus.
As a Program Assistant, you will play an important role in helping maintain a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment while promoting the well-being and independence of the children in our care.
Paid Orientation Required August 3-14 | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Attendance at orientation is required prior to beginning the overnight schedule.
Program Assistant Responsibilities Monitor and support residents throughout the overnight shift
Respond to resident needs as they arise during the night
Complete laundry and light housekeeping tasks
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment
Complete required documentation and daily reports
Follow individualized support plans and program guidelines
Communicate effectively with team members during shift changes
Ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of residents at all times
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements: Valid Driver's License required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Must successfully complete the client's OPWDD screening and background clearance process, including fingerprinting
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and meet the physical requirements of the position
