The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for Accounts Payable activities within the Corporate Controllership team, reporting to the manager overseeing the payables processes for North America, and supports Latin America. The primary focus of this role is to accurately process payments in accordance with Visa’s policies and to promote One Visa by collaborating with many cross-functional teams in effort to reduce the touchpoints to get a supplier paid.

• Minimum 3 years of accounts payable payments processing, including exposure to foreign currency payments with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong commitment to customer service
• Familiarity with global payment standards and payment types
• Understanding of SOX guidelines with a strong controls background
• Fluent with the Procure to Pay principles and concept
• Independent and self-motivated. Ability to work with little or no direct supervision
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and a keen sense for accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with changing priorities
• Ability to support team environment
• Intermediate or Advanced excel skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft office applications, Oracle Financials, and SAP product suite of Ariba and Concur
• Knowledge of the payment industry
• Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and tools
• Customer focused, driven and can lead by example
• Fluent in English and Spanish
