Job Title
Under the direction of the Investor Reporting Supervisor, prepares and processes payments, payoffs and investor transfers, mails refund checks, communicates with bank personnel and customers, keys data into the computer system and reviews system reports. Conducts relationships and activities consistent with established Bank policies, procedures and systems, the corporate code of conduct, Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable State and Federal laws and regulations.
Job Responsibilities
Primary Duties:
Maintain educational and professional expertise through attendance at job related seminars, conferences and workshops. Provide assistance to customers and co-workers to ensure prompt, courteous, and accurate customer service. Perform other investor reporting representative duties (e.g. daily reconciliations, remittances to investors, year-end corrections and servicing released payoffs) as assigned in the loan servicing department in the absence of other investor reporting representatives or in times of unusual activity. Assist in the development of manuals and supporting documentation to accomplish tasks/ duties inherent in this position. Contribute to the effort of the Loan Servicing Center by performing other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills
Knowledge and skills equivalent to the completion of high school and some college courses in Business, Accounting, or Finance. One year accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred. Good verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to use tact, diplomacy, and a professional personal appearance when dealing with customers and co-workers. Accuracy and attention to detail. Computer experience. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment. Ability to follow schedules and meet deadlines. Ability to initiate work activities with minimal supervision and exercise independent good judgement. Good math skills. One year prior banking experience preferred. Good customer service and relations skills. Ability to learn and use computer systems (i.e. LoansServ, BlitzDocs, CIF, Encompass, Central Archive, Positive Pay and General Ledger) and reports to research and process transactions. Knowledge should include the use of reports as it applies to the accomplishment of their duties. Ability to learn and apply knowledge and understanding of applicable regulatory and compliance issues as it applies to their area of responsibility. Ability to apply such knowledge in day-to-day operations and the ability to disseminate such knowledge in an appropriate manner.
