ABOUT THE POSITION The manufacturing engineer development implements actions requested by the upstream technical preparation function, providing local technical support to production teams, in accordance with cost, quality and deadline requirements ensure for the introduction of new products.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
- Focused on new products
- Help to provide documentation to Production.
- Update technical instructions.
- Update formboards (Production Equipment) according to the specific nature of each product.
- Translate documents used in Production into the local language.
- Process Questions & Answers that do not impact the product configuration.
- Suggest improvements to the production and industrialization process.
- Work in tandem with Upstream Preparation during audits, first article inspections, customer inspection tours, etc.P
- erform certain tasks delegated by Upstream Preparation
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience of at least 5 years in a similar position
- Advanced English
- Experience in new projects
- Handling of tools, reading and comprehension in English and Spanish
- Tools management
- Management of Bill of Material
- Managerial, verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous, motivated, organized, good relationship
- Confident with Excel
- Work with high reactivity and with willing to solve problems (finding solutions)
- Flexibility regarding the working shifts (early, day and late shift)
- Able to analyze and explain clearly a problem
- Availability to travel
