- Responsibilities and Duties :
- Conduct various testing methodologies (benchmark, peak load, etc.) using automated tools to measure and assess performance.
- Document and report test results, identify performance issues, and re-test to validate issue resolution.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand architecture and requirements, and define performance test strategies and plans.
- Identify relevant production metrics and support data collection methods.
- Prepare formal and informal test reports, communicating results to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain performance testing artifacts, ensuring proper versioning, organization, and environment setup.
- Support concurrent load testing efforts.
- Work with leadership to enhance current processes and implement new tools.
- Qualifications and Skills :
- Proficiency in JMeter, including script creation, performance testing, and report generation.
- Experience with monitoring and transaction tracing tools (e.g., AppDynamics, AWS CloudWatch).
- Familiarity with AWS and comfortable working with Unix/Linux/Windows OS.
- Effective multitasking capabilities across multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience working in Agile environments is preferred.
