Job Description
Duties
- You will work within a coalition process to achieve organizational goals by coordinating with and advising a staff comprised of military, civilian, and support contractors.
- You will advise the Chief of Naval Operations on the formulation, coordination, supervision, and execution of Navy shipbuilding and conversion programs for surface combatant ships.
- You will be responsible for the management of all aspects of phased array radars, across portfolio programs within the Surface Warfare Division.
- You will serve as the Division's primary radar technical advisor by creating, sharing, managing, and applying master knowledge to effectively and efficiently integrate radar capability into the Navy's inventory of Surface Ships.
- You will review the development of program planning documentation, to include technical, budget, schedule, management, and personnel planning.
- You will review and assess Navy plans, policies, instructions, and requirements documents for the Division's equities.
- You will review and establish Budget Exhibits submitted by the Budget Submitting Office (BSO).
- You will develop program plans including milestone documentation and other plans and reports.
- You will draft and/or approve formal presentations and high-level briefings to support and defend proposals.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
