- Join the talented core product team of a workflow processes and robotic automation platform, based on Laravel and VueJS, continuously extended with microservice modules like task & milestone management, process analytics, reporting tools, AI/ML automations, used by AMDOCS customers around the globe.
What will your job look like? :
- Design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code on cutting-edge web-based technologies according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications.
- Bring continuous improvements/efficiencies to the software or business processes by utilizing software engineering tools and various innovative techniques and reusing existing solutions. By means of automation, reduces design complexity, reduces time to response, and simplifies the client/end-user experience.
- Investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code and providing fixes (analyze and fix bugs) and workarounds, review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions, highlight and help mitigate risks from technical aspects.
- Collaborate with the team, participate in peer code reviews, and work with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
All you need is... :
- Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computing or equivalent and 4-6 years' experience as a software engineer
- Professional in PHP object-oriented programing with at least 2-4 years working with Laravel framework
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Eloquent)
- Strong understanding of web development principles, including MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and SOLID principles
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience with Vue.js or at least one other modern JavaScript framework/library
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks is a plus
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies is a plus
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, in English, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic and collaborative multi-cultural environment
